Our Mission
The mission of Cops Connecting with Kids Inc. is to build positive relationships between members of the law enforcement profession and the youth in their local communities, through open and honest channels of communication, mentorship, and connectivity.
About Us
Since 2014, Cops Connecting with Kids has been sharing the joys and magic of Disney with students all over the Tri-State Area. Our program is active in Evansville, Henderson, and Princeton, and from those three communities, over 550 middle school aged students have participated in the CCWK program. The students chosen for this program are selected by their schools based on classroom effort, positive behavior in school and the community, and leadership.
What makes Cops Connecting with Kids so special is it allows kids to experience a world outside of their hometown. For most, it is their first time on a plane, staying at a hotel, and being away from their family for a week. We see their confidence grow on the trip and the experience provides the students with skills needed to chase their dreams.
This experience is completely funded by donations. As a 501c3, we rely 100% on community support to make this happen. In addition to the financial impact of a donation, it also shows the students that their hard work has been recognized and that people believe in them.
